ZTM is responsible for:

  • forecasting and modeling solutions for local public transport;

  • studying the market of public transport services and traffic needs of the Poznań's inhibitants, shaping the structure of the transportation system (fixing tram and bus lines) and the supply of capacity;

  • determining the volume of transport services for local public transport network;

  • approval of plans for investment in transport infrastructure, in accordance with the requirements of city transport policy;

  • carrying out activities for people with disabilities;

  • quality and efficiency control of services provided by public transport operators;

  • determining the communication lines and the location of stops, as well as determining the temporary changes while certain streets are under construction;

  • emission and distribution of tickets and other media for fares (including cards PEKA in an integrated urban transport system);

  • checking tickets;

  • considering complaints and requests of passengers and passing rrecommendations to operators;

  • implementing of a dynamic passenger information based on the data provided by operators;
